Day 1 – 4: Flatdogs Camp, South Luangwa
Following an arrival in Mfuwe, you will be met by Flatdogs staff and transferred to Flatdogs Safari Camp in the South Luangwa National Park, one of the last great wildlife wonders of the world. Spend 3 nights in this park that is nine thousand square kilometers (3,475 square miles) of pristine wilderness that can be explored with game drives and guided safari walks. The Luangwa Valley is home to incredible diversity of life, including around 100 species of mammals, more than 400 bird species and over 2000 types of plants.
Day 4 – 8: Luambe Camp, Luambe National Park
Luambe staff will meet you at Flatdogs where you will start your journey to Luambe National Park. Enjoy a 4 hour road transfer, allowing you ample time to take in the new surroundings, diverse wildlife as well as experience the astonishing birdlife encountered along the way. The Luambe Conservation Project exists to restore this National Park to its former glory, one of of the most productive wilderness areas in Zambia. You have the opportunity to get involved in the project, taking part in conservation activities with the team on the ground.
